Every summer there is a plethera of concerts. Some bands I want to see some I don't .. My question to you is this summer has there been any concerts that you have wanted to attend? If so did you go to that concert or are you planning on going to that concert?

I really wanted to see the Eagles this summer but when I called the only tickets that were left were the ninety dollar ones. Needless to say I wasnt about to pay 180.00 plus tax for two tickets. I dont have that kind of money. I also was interested in Kenny Gee but I never found out how much the tickets were. I should be getting some money in Sept. so I will get tickets to see Sheryl Crowe if there are any available.

I was at the Linkin Park Projeckt Revolution tour on friday we missed the whole second stage but the main stage was pretty good and let me tell you even if I wouldn't have gotten to the concert till linkin park went on it would have been worth it to drive out to see just him. LOL!!! But I also am planning on the puddle of mudd concert in maryland. LOL!!!

I haven't been to a proper concert in ages sweety but I did manage to catch some live acts while in Aviemore. The Scottish Football supporters - the Tartan Army as they are called had a gathering whilst we were there and it was great!
Kenny Rogers is playing Scotland next year and I would love to go. I adore Kenny , I think he has a great voice and a lovely twinkle and I have always wanted to see him live. My ex wouldn't let me go and see him when we were still together and I really, really wannna be well enough to go next summer! xxx

I'll make sure to keep my fingers and toes crossed so that you can go see Kenny Rogers and have a great time. I am actually going to about 3 more concerts this summer before it ends. Yay I can't wait. Take care hun.

You already know I spent last weekend in Virginia to see Motley Crue and a list of other bands, and you were with me the week before that when we were in Maryland seeing those "unknown bands" that still managed to pack the house.
I'm a little disappointed that I am missing Poison on tour this summer but I would rather be on the beach drinking a pina coloda then being pushed and pulled by a bunch of drunk sweaty ugly men.
I still have 3 concerts to attend before summer is over and those should fill me up until next year!

Oh Bella, I can reply to this one. I used to love summer when I lived in London. I worked just across the road from St James's Park and I would take my lunch time constitutional walk in a loop that was about a mile in length there most days. Now right in the middle is a bandstand. Each day a different band would play. Sometimes stiff and regimental if it was a military band, good stirring religious stuff from the Salvation Army or exotic and colourful if a steel band came by. Workers and tourists alike would while away a few minutes listening and be transported to wherever their dreams took them. Small children would march to the soldiers beat. Older ladies and gents would sing a long to the hymns and all would gently sway to the uplifting rhythm of the caribbean lilt. When the band struck up. You could see people hurrying from their planned routes just to come and spend a little time enjoying happy moments dancing, singing and of course, eating their ice creams or picnics. Even my lunchtime sandwiches somehow tasted just that bit more scrummy when I listened to the band. Afterwards, I'd return to my office much more alive and cheered. Enjoy your own band watching and listening this summer. X

I kind of wanted to go to Warped Tour this summer, even though there weren't that many bands I wanted to see. I didn't go, though. Gas money is just waaaayyy to much to drive 400 miles round trip.
The band Dot Dot Dot have been playing tons of festivals and stuff down in Indiana and Illinois and I really wanted to catch one, but again gas money is just too much.
In August my favorite band, Kill Hannah is playing near me and I really want to go....I'm getting close to my first payout here on mylot and it would be just about enough for a ticket...
