What do you have to live for?

What is it that keeps you going? What is it that make you want to be a good person? This is going to sound stupid, but I finally have a real reason to live. It's because I lost my dog. He's gone, but I feel that to honor him, I need to live a good life for him. And that if I live a good life, I will get to see him again in heaven. If I screw up my life, I'll never get him back.

That's nice. You really love that dog very much. I live for my parents, my son, and for my friends. They are the reason that i worked hard in this life. They are the person i can turn to for help someday.

I also live for my husband, and that together we can make our dreams come true. Family is so important!

Well were the same, the only difference is my dog is still alive and were both enjoying each other company. Before when I don’t have my dog yet, I don’t know what to do with my life and it feels like there’s nothing to live for. But everything changed when my dog came. I’ve got back my sense of living somehow and have better perspective in life.

I feel really bad that you have lost the most precious possession of your life and at the same time kudos to you for your love towards your dog. This very much pathetic event has actually turned you to become more responsible towards life and this is definitely a positive side of this otherwise sad information. I have seen people after loosing their beloved pets often react with a negative attitude towards life. And I was no exception. It really takes some time to absorb the shock but the next time, it it happens with me, I'll definitely recall this discussion to move on. Thanks.

I am sure your dog is very proud of you! I have to live for my children and future children and my soon to be husband. If it wasn't for my children and my husband my life would be useless and boring.
