Airplane take me away...

As I was on the way to the childrens hospital today to spend the day with my husband and step-son, I drove past the Atlanta airport. There was a plane just taking off, and I thought to myself, I wish I was on that plane going anywhere but here. Have you ever had that thought? I am sure most of us have from one time to another. If you had unlimited funds to go anywhere in the world, where would you go? Would you go by yourself, or take people with you?
I think I would go to a fabulous beach resort where there were private tiki huts for your to spend time on the beach and relax. Something very posh and expensive, but still very discreet and relaxing. I think I would like to take my husband only and I think I would want to stay for at least a week or two!

Yes, I wish that a plane would take me away to a tropical island with white sand beach and gently waving palm trees. Yesterday I borrowed a book from my local library about Mauritius. That would be a beautiful destination to go to. I would like to stay in accommodation that has a thatched roof and is very close to the beach. I know that I would go snorkeling to see brightly colored and friendly fish around a stunning looking coral reef. It would be wonderful to feel the lovely warm sunshine. I would enjoy meeting the friendly people and do some walking to view native wildlife and the attractive interior landscape. I live about 15 miles from my nearest airport and it has mostly flights going to destinations in Europe. I often hear the planes fly over my house. I like to travel on my own most of all. These days I take my toddler son with me. Since he was born last year we have been to Portugal, Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia. I really love to travel, it is my favorite hobby.

I'd like to go the same place as you! I'd take my mom and sister and brother and my two sons. It would be great! The Bahamas are wonderful for something like that, the waters are so clear and blue they'll break your heart.

I have had that thought many times. I'm not sure where I would go or even who I would take with me. Right now a beach resort sounds fabulous! I have also wanted to go to Italy, Hawaii and Alaska, so they would be next on my list of places to go. Take me away!
