Changing Payout Amount

I've been considering changing my payout amount to a higher amount. Would like to see more money added to my PayPal account and not have to transfer the funds to my bank account as often. Has this crossed your mind, will you keep the amount as is or increase the payout amount?

I have not thought about it. I actually have not posted a lot lately on Mylot so I am not making much. I will leave it at the minimum for now.

I haven't been here much either. The stormy weather kept me off the computer this past weekend. Thanks for responding.

Change - Payout Amount
I don't see why I should do that. There isn't any limit to how many transactions a month for paypal anyway. For me, the important thing is to get paid or to have the money I earned transferred from myLot to Paypal and ultimately to my personal bank account. Yes myLot has been here for the longest time, but we are not sure how long. Just sharing my opinion.

You have a very valid point but I felt comfortable enough to change it. If myLot should fold in the future, I won't be out that much. Thanks so much for responding and sharing your opinion.

I actually changed my payout amount a few months ago. I had it set to the minimum amount, but after my husband pointed out that it would be better to let my earnings grow a bit, I decided to change it to the maximum. Okay, so it will take me forever to reach it, but I'm not in any hurry to receive it.

I did change the payout to a higher amount. Decided I'd like to see a larger amount transferred to my checking account. Thanks for responding.

It has crossed my mind, but some months I have not enough for a payout as it is. I'm only getting a payout once a month or once every other month, so I don't think it's that big a deal in my case. If it was once a week, definitely! Take care.

I did increase my payout to $25. I don't have enough time to make that in one month but it's ok. I may increase it to $50. Will have to think about it. Thanks for responding.

Yes! I've been earning more money faster lately and I've been thinking to increasing my payout. I believe paypal would take less fees off and I would save. Plus I hope that this will encourage me to reach for higher goals. I have a lot to save up for right now and I relaly have to keep my eye on the goal.

I've been lazy with myLot lately. I did increase the payout to a higher amount and it will probably take me forever to get it. Good luck reaching your goals. Thanks for responding.

I keep my payout at the smallest amount because I know that I will get that amount with no problem. I suppose though that if I were wanting to save for something special, I may would change that payout at least for a while.

Am not using the money for anything special but I understand your theory. I like to transfer the earnings from PayPal to my bank account and leave it there. Thanks for responding.

I keep it the same....build it up in paypal then transfer it....I just sold something on ebay for the first times so I'm just keeping it there for now.

I already changed my payout amount to $25. I want to ger as much money as possible to my paypal account and like you not have to transfer it so often to my bank account. Also I don't want to get whatever money I earn here and then go out and waste it on things that I don't need. So I'm going to wait and then get it when college starts because like that i'll have that money to buy whatever I need for college like my metrocards and other small things.

i have been thinking of that aswell.... getting a lump sum amount is always better than getting them in trickle. But when the payment date arrives i always opt for the payment of what ever balance i have.

I have decided to increase the payout earnings. It would seem like I was really earning if it was more than $10 each month. Thanks for responding.

I just let the money I earn here sit in my paypal account because, so far, I haven't needed it for anything. I've never really thought about it though but I guess if you're going to be transferring the funds out of paypal immediately it would make sense to wait.

I'm not real comfortable leaving any money in my PayPal account. Could be a scam target so I do transfer as soon as the electronic transfer goes to PayPal. Thanks for responding.

I am going to change mine. Have decided I would rather see a larger amount deposited to my PayPal account. Depends if you need the money right away or want to save it. Whatever is comfortable for you. Thanks so much for responding.
