if someone is shorter or taller than you...like for the women out there if a guy is shorter than you will you still date them or is it kind of awkard for you if the guy is a little short...or does that really matter to you...could you see yourself with a guy that is shorter for the rest of your life...or for you guys would you ever date a woman who was taller than you...would that be a little bit awkard for you if you did...and would it really matter to you..and could you see yourself with a woman that was taller than you for the rest of your life or not...thanks for reading my discussion!

i'm female and used to think a guy would need to be taller. even though i knew a married couple where the guy was short and the woman was tall. but i've since learned there are some very interesting guys who are short. so it can make a difference who the guy is as opposed to how tall he is.

I'm female also, and I used to think that a guy needed to be taller than me also, but I ended up marrying a man that is 2 inches shorter than me, when we first started dating, it used to bother me a little, but I got used to it. It's no big deal now, and as you said, short guys can be very interesting, and its true, it doesn't matter how short or how tall he is. My husband is VERY interesting...lol.

that's terrific you have discovered your husband is interesting. yes it's a shame in society that so much is based on not just how you look but how you look together. when there is so much more to a person than how they or we look.

This again reminds me of that manga/anime titled Lovely Complex which secretbear got me hooked 
I won't mind if I'd go out with a girl who is taller than me. Though I can't say with honesty that I would not be bothered by it, after all, it would be a new experience for me since I'm already tall and I have female friends with average height and seems to think that it would be daunting for a girl around their height average to be in a relationship with me Kind'a cruel but, that's their honesty.
And if I really end up falling for that tall girl, I might see myself with her the rest of my life.. though it still depends on her if what I could see would be a reality

I could not date anyone shorter than me. I wouldn't even want to date anyone my height. They have to be a few inches taller than me. I stand 5'5 and my husband is 6'1. My mother was taller than my dad. She was 5'8 and dad was 5'4. And they looked so cute together.

Its natrual for a guy to pick a girl that is shorter than them. I don't think it is awkard to have a women shorter than you.. my husband is 6 foot and i only 5 foot 4. I think men go after women that are shorter than they are..
