How Much Is Gas? :) Where U Live! ;-)

I got gas today, $40.00 only filled less than
10 gallons of gas in my car. That is ridicules.
There is something called ethanol in the gas.
This makes your gas burn faster. And that is
the governments idea. SO HOW MUCH IS THE GAS
WHERE YOU LIVE ? :-)

Sounds quite cheap, but then incomes are very low in India, so comparatively speaking that is probably very expensive! In the UK, petrol (gas) is £1.10 a litre, diesel more like £1.25. I think there are about 4 litres to a US gallon and £1 is about 1.85 USD, so work that one out! Our tax makes up about 80% of the cost of fuel, so no escaping taxes here!

So if I'm right that would work out to be, about $4.40 Right?
Where I live in the U.S. it has been going up and down.
Right now it is $3.49.
So it may be a little higher their. It depends on how they
look at the value of a $1.00.

When you put this discussion up, I think there were about 2USD to the pound sterling, and yes, once when my tank was really empty, spent just over £40 or 80 USD on a fill up! Beat that (fuel about £1.20 a litre, about 4 litres to 1 US gallon)!

I was curious to know the exact values, been a bit of an 'exact' person! Have been Googling and found that there are 3.78541 litres to one of your US gallons. The current exchange rate is just over $1.76 to £1. So that makes a US gallon of our petrol or gas $7.33! This is at our current price of £1.10 a litre. As I say our government heavily tax fuel, so that 80% of the price we pay go to her majesty's revenue and customs! So concerned for the environment is our government!!!

That would be $4.80 right. If I'm right.
Gas here now is $3.49.
About $1.30 more.
Depending on the value of your dollar.

I live in NJ, we got gas after we left church today, the gas was $3.99 per gal.
My husband asked for $20.00m worth. The attendant decided to wash our windows. When he went back to the pump, it was over $20 by $8.00 and some change, so yippee we hit the gas jackpot. It was his mistake so we did not have to pay.

So today your gas was somewhere around $3.00 per. gal.
You really did do good. We don't have gas attendant
around here anymore. I miss it during the winter. Plus
I'm lazy or tired sometimes.
But gas is $3.89 here. Your like me. Right on the boundary
of $4.00.
