Does your dog just sleep all day long???

My 7 year old lahsa apso dog just sleeps all day long. He goes out for 2 walks a day and eats twice a day but other than that he just snoozes all day long and then comes night time he just continues. How much sleep does a dog need??? He plays ball for 5 minutes and he is already tired. I don't think its an age think because that is all he has done for the longest. The most active he was when he was 8 weeks old when I first got him up to a year. Does your dog also sleep and sleep and sleeps his life away?

Not really. I mean he does if we are not outside with him, but like to day he went outside at 8AM and he just stopped and it is 8PM. He just had his bath and he is laying down here by me snoring. I just have to think that they get bored. I mean what would you do all day if you were a dog and no one to talk to?

I had a dog like that about a year ago. Someone stole her.
She slept a lot also. She was not a very nice dog. She didn't
like kids. She would snap at them. And she had very sensitive
skin. Her eyes ran with clear stuff.
Her name was Suzie. She also was about 7 or 8.
I think she slept so much because of her age.
My dog now never sleeps. It a Basset Hound. His name is Snoopy.:-)

My dog doesn't sleep all day but he does take naps! 
He sleeps with me at night but he goes to bed before me but he will wake up and look at me if i make any noises. 
I take him on a morning walk everyday and when we get back from that he will go and take a nap. It wears him out lol plus its always REALLY hot outside..
He also will take nap later on in the afternoon if nothing is going on or anything, he will just rest but if there are people around or stuff happening then he is always right there in the mix. He doesn't like not being a part of whatever is going on..
