Were You Named After Anyone?

I remember my mother telling me that she used to babysit a little girl who's name was Terri LaDawn and she loved that name. So, when she named me of course, I got the name Terri LaDawn. So, were any of you named after someone?

I am not named after anyone. I did name my daughter after my twin sister that passed! My son is named after my greatgrandparents and my dad!

i was named after my aunt. my fathers cousin. she is a nun at the time i was born. maybe my father wanted for me to be like her but alas its the other way around... lol..

I was named for my Mom. She is such a delight that I am glad that I was. It is a nice name. I am proud to carry the same name as my Mom.
