My wonderful dog ran off this weekend, (she loves to chase animals) and cornered a Skunk. The skunk sprayed her right in that face.... Ugghhhhhhh! I have tried so many things.... but after a couple of hours she goes back to stinking... Any suggestions?

Yikes! Poor dog. I would suggest the vet, they may have something for your dog. In any case, you can always have her shaven and grow the fur back.

Yes she is a 90 lb lap dog, who just doesn't understand why I keep giving her baths! She is a Golden Retriever, and I had her cut like a lab early this summer, I suppose I could tell the groomer to make he look like a piggie... Hee Hee that would teach her. All the other dogs in the neighbor hood would surly laugh at her...

Oh wow. I bet that stinks a lot. I am sorry. I have heard of people using tomato juice to get rid of the smell. If that doesn't work, you could always just shave her. :D Good luck!

Oh yes it did! I think we finally got it. Here is what we finaly understand. The sent is traped in an oil. So you must break down the oil first and then work on the sent - to break appart the oil, mix dawn(must be original dawn) peroxide and baking soda. wash, rinse and repeat. Let sit in for 10 minutes. Rinse and repeat one more time. Then use the store bought skunk remover enzyemes. Us full stenghth and allow it to soak 1/2 hour. Then apply again and dont rinse. If the smell is still there the next day, start over. Also, boiling vinager helped remove the smell from our house
