Mouse and mouse trap

FYI: The plural of mouse is mice. Why, I don't know. That's just one of the reasons English is such a confusing language. Back to your question: We have not had a mouse in the house in so long that I can't remember when. Perhaps this is because we have usually had a cat in the house. My mother has told the story of her wedding night frequently. This was during the great depression which hit western Texas, Oklahoma, and Kansas especially hard. They moved into this old farm house that had not been occupied in a long time. That night neither got much sleep because they were too busy emptying the mouse traps. She said they caught 25 mice that first night.

The one I was using right now is the sticky pad that can be placed under the kitchen or the way mouse run at night. I love this stuff since it is safe for kid's unlike the chemical which is dangerous if swallowed by children. But right now, the mouse in our home did learned this stuff already and I could not caught them using this stuff. I guess, I need to look for some other stuff.

Well, I've seen one when I was very young. It got stick to my neighbor's trap and my neighbor killed it with boiled water.
