a locked drawer

last night, we have installed a new lock in my drawer. it is where i keep my jewelry. we have been putting off doing that for some time and finally we did it.
but today, i found another good use for it. aside from my jewelry, checkbook, passbook, etc. i will put my journal in there! yup! my journal is for my safekeeping because today i have decided that all my feelings and thoughts will be written in my journal. no longer will i share them with others and risk getting judged.
after writing them down, i will bring them up to God. and pray about them. i will rant and rave in my journal all i can, and it stays there. hehe
i have a pretty good feeling about this. at least when i go out, i will no longer trouble people with my problems. and it is good therapy.
but well, it will have to stay in my drawer and not for all the world to see. hehe
it stays locked!

That is great! Just also make sure you will not leave the key anywhere..LOL!
I have that before when I was single, My Sister will always encourage me to lock my drawer since we are living with few friends in the apartment..
I am very careless really..LOL! I lost a lot of things not because I left it anywhere but because my drawer was open that time..
ANyway, a journal is a good stuff too! That is the safest way to vent out and also here in Mylot if you don't know anyone..LOL! Enjoy!

Hello spoiled311,
One of the reasons why I don't lock anything up in my room is my husband. He doesn't like me to have secret and whenever he thinks that I do that to safe keep my secret, he will be very angry. But of course, there are many important documents that we need to keep them somewhere safely like the international passports, jewelries and personal documents. I always keep them in one place and tell him where I keep them. Sometimes whenever I don't feel good about it, I just move all the documents to another place or drawer and have to remind myself to tell him where I put all the documents.
