Geographically speaking, our country is surrouned by bodies of water, too. In fact, we've got 7,107 islands at present. And there are so many species of sea food here. I live in the city but my province, Pangasinan, is along the shoreline. Fish mainly milkfish and "bangus", prawns, crabs, clams, oysters, carp, catfish, and edible seaweeds are abundant. However, even if I do like eating them; there are some types which I don't like, the abalones for instance. Also, we rarely get to buy them because they are so expensive here. A kilo of crabs would cost four hundred pesos or nine to eleven dollars. Many of the natives of our province are fishermen and rely mainly on their catch for them to sell in the market. On other times, they are the ones who eat them if they are not able to sell all of them. Anyway, I've noticed that you've only got nine beside your user name. I assume that you're a newbie here. I hope you'll like it here just as many of us do, and eventually stay here. Welcome to mylot.

I wish I could but I am really allergic to it. Too bad I cant enjoy this great food so much because of my illness or immune system disfunction. Hope I'll have a cure of it for me to even taste any seafood.
