Yes, you heard me right a Leopard ate a Crocodile. Never heard of such a thing happening before, have you? Check out the story below. It has some amazing pictures.

this is really amazing! i am surprised by the ability of the leopard! never have i thought a leopard would attack a crocodile. after thinking about it for a while, i'm beginning to suspect there might be reasons behind this. was the leopard female? maybe the crocodile killed her child and she is taking revenge. a more sinister thought points me to the lack of food on the game reserve. driven by hunger, the leopard had no choice but to take the risk. that is a sad thought though. thanks for sharing this amazing story. cheers ;p

yes the article didn't dwell on the motive. However it did mention that it doesn't usually happen. The risk is too much for that little meat the leopard is going to get. Maybe food supplies is really running. Nevertheless thanks for sharing such an amazing story. I'm sure nothing much can beat this. Cheers ;p

Wow!! I wouldn't have believed it if I hadn't seen it. I've never heard of anything like this either...the leopard must have been terribly hungry to go after one of it's predators.

Well thats one brave leopard. Im impressed, the skin of the crocodile is really tough and spiky hard. And definitely, that crocodile looks heavy and packs a powerful bite. That leopard would have a rough time if he'll be caught inside that cros powerful jaws.
But i guess, the leopard have an advantage. Im sure he's been stalking that alligator and carefully planned and waited when is the right time to attack. That plus speed have outsmarted the crocodile's hard armored skin.
There are only few animals who dared to prey on crocodiles.
An huge anaconda is also one of them.
