Call Center

Yes its same in our country too.Every person in our country is appyling for a call centre job.Because we dont need to do any hard work just sit at a place and attend calls and get a handful of money.But this job is not for a lifetime.As long as we are young they use us and after that they just kick us out.

There are a lot of job openings / or requirements for BPO, or call centers because the deman for workforce is high - there are too many positions to fill (there are front office/ customer service, and the back office supports) and of course people move quite a lot in this industry. Many jump from one company to the other because they need to elevate themselves - and tendency is to not stick to one BPO company anymore - i think it is not only about the pay - but which company gives better benefits, which company has a more prestigious name. I'd say it can be true that they probably have about a hundred applicants in a day but i would think only about 10% of that would get through HR and be endorsed to the managers. ;) BPO have a lot of requirements and most certainly they already want to reduce training costs so they would rather get oldtimers than freshgrads because they can put them on the phone right away... but of course there are some companies that would want fresh graduate hires because they are cheaper in terms of salary expectations.
