This man was STRUCK by Lightening SEVEN TIMES, but never died...

This was some piece of information which i stored in my computer.. for a long time and i wish to share to you now..
A US Park Ranger Roy C. Sullivan from Virginia, was struck by lightening on seven different occasions between 1942 to 1983.. Here i give the year, what he was doing, and what happened to him.
1) In 1942 : he was working up in a lookout tower--lightening bolt struck his leg and knocked the big toe nail off.
2) In 1969 : was driving along a mountain road --burned off his eyebrows..
3) In 1970 : walking across his yard -- his left shoulder was seared..
4) In 1972 : standing in the office -- struck his hair and set it on fire
5) In 1973 : sitting on his truck-- threw him out of his truck, and legs got seared.
6) In 1976 : checking on a campsite-- Got his ankle Injured..
7) In 1977 : was fishing --- Got chest and stomach burns..
This man was never killed by lightening, but he committed suicide while in his 70's in 1983 reportedly distraught over the loss of a woman.
What to tell about the fate of this man?

Hi saivenkaat, thank you for sharing the lengthy and detailed report about the park ranger who was struck by lightning seven times within 41 years. No matter how great the danger he had encountered he still could survive. 
It was rather incredible to notice that this tough hero would end his life so dramatically. We couldn’t deny the magnificent power of love. When love is deprived of from a person, the emotional blow he sustains is really fatal.

I remember seeing film of this Man being interviewed on British TV (the show must have been broadcast in the early 80's,then) about his experiences with Lightning on the Show Based on the "Guinness Book of Records",Called "Record Breakers"..He held the Record for being struck most times by Lightning,strangely enough ..Life can be Strange sometimes..
