How many replies do you actually read before answering a discussion?

There may be discussions you respond that may have around 20 replies. How many of it would you read actually before you respond?

I usually reply through my email... so i don't read the other responses... but if i see the discussion through my mylot page... i read some so that i won't be repeating what others have already written... and sometime i don't especially if my opinion is being asked... since i don't want to be influenced by the other responses...

i open my email so i get a link that makes me go to a space where i need to response first before i can read others response. well that is only with my friends started discussion. i responde first before i read others response. if i saw the discussion on mylots page i also respond first before i read others response i dont want to get affected on what they say i want to say my views and on what i feel regarding the discussion. if i find a discussion very interesting i dont care if there is a lot of response i still give my point of view.
