what is the best way to stop hungry peeps from eating too much food?

I love to eat.. its like a hobby to me... so i gained 30 lbs. in 3 years... What am i supposed to do to stop eating? well, i know we cant stop it, but i mean, what is the best way to stop some1 like me from eating too much?

try drinking water instead of eating. Drink a whole glass of water before you eat your meals it will help fill you up faster so your eating less. You can only lose weight when you really want to. Saying it is not really wanting to. You have to map out your day. When you wake up drink a glass of water, then eat something with little calories. Read labels if it says this much equals 1 serving then eat that much. Try to stay as close to you can to 200 calories per meal 100 calories for your snacks. If you eat fruit you will do even better then that. Then about 10 o'clock eat a snack continue to drink water. at 12 drink a glass of water then eat your lunch. Drink water even when your not thirsty. At 4 o' clock eat another snack. 6 or 7 o' clock drink your glass of water and then eat dinner. Try not to eat the rest of the night. Try doing more exercise walk places when you can, Use the stairs play with some kids. Chasing them around the house is good exercise. Be a kid again play sports, skate try new things. Go dancing. Its good to put music on that you can dance to while your fixing dinner then you tend to move to the music. Good luck.

thanks for your reply... i used to tell a few not to drink water first coz they will not be able to eat well... i used to say, eat first b4 drinking... i never thought its better the other way around... thanks... ill try this asap...

Seriously, if you can't stop eating, maybe you should see about going to a nutritionist or psychologist and see if meal plans and therapy can help you. There are also meal plans that you can order that provide meals for you to eat every day and that's all you can eat. You could also try removing all of the food except for healthy things. If you know you shouldn't eat, just try saying no.
I love to eat, too, but I know that I can't just eat whatever I want, whenever. I don't eat when I'm not hungry and make an effort to control my portion size.

I'm a bug eater too. And it's hard to stop so I understand what you're saying. I lost over 20 pounds since I graduated high school four years ago. Now I feel like I've gained more back, lol. The only way to stop over eating is by making yourself active. You have to keep your mind busy and away from the kitchen.
