I went to church yesterday for the first time in over a year. I had never been to this church before, but I am hoping to make it my church home. I really enjoyed myself in the Lord. The pastor preached about discipleship and how we are to win souls to Christ, once we get over the thrill of being happy just to be saved, LOL. He also asked us if we still believed in miracle? It was so incredible, because shortly after that a man who looked like he had been going through a whole lot of hardship, came and seemed to just crumble on the floor in front of the pastors feet. We all stretched forth our hands and began to pray for him immediately. It was awesome.

I went to church on Sunday. I go twice every Sunday and it gives me peace and comfort hearing the sermons and finding out how we can improve our lives and how God has forgiven all our sins. You are told that you are a child of God and no matter what the world can have no power of you. And we can do all things through Christ who strengthens us. This Sunday, he was talking about the city of God and how that surrounded by enemies and confusion, it is peaceful and serene.

yes I did. I love my home church and Sunday serve. For me, it's the starting point of my weekly journey with the Lord. I get to "dump and start over", and that is worth celebrating. I am happy that you went, hope you've found a home, and you continue to celebrate every week.

You are right, this is the great commission. God told his disciples to go into all the world and preach the gospel. Mylot is a vehicle that I am using at this time to reach people all over the world.

I didn't go to church on Sunday. I go every other Sunday. And when I do go I enjoy the worship service. I will be going this Sunday, its our 147th Church Anniversary. I love to hear the word of God and praising Him.

Nothing beats the praise and a good ol' timely message. I can not wait to get back there this Sunday. One hundred and forty seven years is a long time. That church has seen many members, as well as pastors come and go.

No, I planned to as my Church has special programs all summer to try to entice people to come. However, I got my period and couldn't move for several hours.

Hey Buddy I haven't been to church in a long time, mind you we were invited to a friends church on Mothers day and it was nice. The service was all in Samoan so I didn't understand what was being preached all too much.

Well I guess it isn't so bad that you could not understand the preacher. At least you got the opportunity to fellowship with other believers.
