I grew up Christian and currently do not belong to any religion. I believe that it is pointless to choose to follow one specific set of rules and beliefs and close your mind to other possibilities. For example, I believe in God and also that there was a Jesus Christ, however, I also believe in karma and the power of thinking, and that there are more ways to "Heaven" than just through Jesus. Oprah made a comment about this sort of thing a while ago and got majorly criticized for it, but I don't understand why. Maybe you can enlighten me and give me some more thought on this matter.
