how do you protect your eyes?

im using eyeglass for my blurry eyesight. i cant read with my eyeglass but i have to wear it when im watching tv. hahaha weird ha. im a far sighted. i read books it has to be a little far from me. if its a little bit near on my face its blurred. i cant see the letters clearly.
