'I want to be big Like You'

Oh yes my eldest says it all the time, "when im big like you I can" and thats normally followed with something she would like to do but isnt old enough for yet lol

My 8 year old always says that he wants to be a grown up because he wants to get a job and earn money for himself.

I had a little cousin who always complain about being a kids and he always told me that he wanted to grow up and be like me.. Being able go out freely and going everywhere he wanted but he does not know the problems and stress faced by a adult and also, adult needs to do a lot of things which a kid does not need to do.. Maybe he will learn as he grows up..
