God's money

Who believes that everything on earth, including money, belongs to God. If so, do you feel that we should ask Him how we should spent it? Including groceries, utilities, etc. I've been doing Bible research on money, and how to stretch it to make ends meet. I've learned lots, and I would like to start this discussion. I think we all could learn lots.

There is a good verse in the bible, where it tells you to ask if it is God will that we should do business, etc. I believe it in Malachi, but do not quote me on that because I do not have a good verbal memory, i am more a visual and aural person. But getting back to the point, God does not mean for you to ask "shall I pay the rent today, shall I get some chocolates instead of jelly beans, shall I get that new computer or a new tv?" If you pray for God's will to be done, you do not need to ask. HE wants you to be a good steward and stewards or managers as they call them now, do not go running to their boss to ask if they need to get a package of toothpicks. Just ask God for HIS guidance, and HE will take care of the rest. Oh if you go to Church, God wants you to give back just ten percent to pay the minister's salary.

I'm affraid that I've gotten completely off track or directed everyone in a different direction. I'm sorry about that. What I was trying to ask everyone was - If I have $1,000 this month to live on. After tithe that gives me $900. Should I pray to God to make that money stretch so I can eat healthy, keep the lights on, gas for the car so I can take the kids to school, etc. If I was a boss, and someone asked me everytime if they could do this or that, knowing they were capable of making that decision for themselves. What I'm implying, there isn't enough money for all of our bills. If I prayed, will God stretch that money, or make other miracles happen so I don't loose my electricity in a few days. Thank you for your reply. I will look up some verses and see what I find.

Well, actually, the bible tells you to give up all your earthly possessions, so I'm not so sure God would be in favor of the majority of expenditures human beings have these days. Good thing we don't have to run the budgeting by him first ...

Everything on this Earth,(including the Earth) Is God. We should never ask God for Anything. Thank Him (instead) for all our Blessings. Money,(All) is Energy, Energy is Love, Love is God. Be Thankful for your Blessings. Cast your bread on the waters, and It will return 7 times!
