Has anyone ever used Shutterstock or a similar site?

I was wondering if anyone has gotten paid for uploading their photos to Shutterstock or a site of this nature? If so, did you make much? Just wondering because I didn't want to waste too much of my time uploading photos. Thanks!

I had joined shutterstock but was not active. I think they amount they pay is too less and it will take a lot of efforts to earn from it. Also, the photographs should be within their terms and most important they should be downloaded :) After considering all the 'if's and 'else's I thought it would take ages to pay. I would rather work on something else and earn faster.

Yeah apparently they need a photo ID of you before you can join too... stupid. lol

Hi, I am using Fotolia. I am not active in Fotolia and the submission guidelines are quite confusing and a lot of rules. So, I am not very keen to use it. Now, I just register iStockPhoto, I hope I can make money from it because I found a lot of photographers are making money from it.

I signed up last night for Fotolia, it does seem to have a lot of terms and conditions.. dunno how that is going to go, maybe I will try iStockphoto as well. Thanks :)
