My TV Just Kicked the Bucket

My fiancee and I were playing a video game when the TV suddenly stopped working. It smelled like burnt electronics. Has anyone else had their TV just die on them like that?

Yes, it has happened to me more than once! Is there a freecycle group near you? Televisions are one of the most common things given away! Go to freecycle.org and out in your zipcode. I do hate that electric burning smell! Did you unplug it yet?

Yes, there are a lot of fires started by malfunctioning electric appliances! our refrigerator started a kitchen fire one year, it just started and the flames shot up to the ceiling! Nobody got hurt but it costs a lot to fix the damage!
