Do you think girls get matured faster than guys? Or the other way?

Yesterday, I watched a movie about puppy love between a boy and a girl who were same age 10 years old. In the story, the girl appeared to be more matured than the boy. The boy kept on thinking girls get matured faster than boys. The boy seemed to be childish in some ways but the girl just be cooled. What do you think? Do you think girls really get matured faster than boys? Or the other way? Please share with me,thanks.

I think that it varies person-by-person but as a general understanding, backed by research studies, girls to tend to mature faster than boys.
I've seen some really dumb guys in their 20s and even 30s but for girls it seems that they can mature by the time they're out of college.
But it varies though.
Like I'm a guy and not even finished college but I consider myself very mature - have two jobs, am taking college courses, already have a career path, and have plenty of healthy extra activities.
So, there ya go.

Well, as a rule I have always thought it to be known that girls do mature faster. Of course, it could be the individual themselves. Sometimes it could depend on the upbringing of the person. Sometimes boys can mature at an earlier age. It just seems that women have a way of becoming more mature sooner.
