I think everyone should have something they do for themselves. Whether it's taking a walk alone, getting a manicure, or whatever. What is something that you do just for you?

For me, all of my "me time," may not seem like such to outsiders because I love my work so much that it's hard to take a break (I am a dancer and do other arts on the side). So when I have a few hours to spare all by myself, I do more dancing or some sort of artistic activity of some sort. Since I don't go out or have people over very much being a bit of a loner, sometimes I may invite a friend or two to go out and do something fun. Other times, if it is late at night, I relax either by reading a book or writing poetry or meditation of some sort... Nothing too interesting...

I read and write also. The outlet is very refreshing.

almost everyday, I take time out of my day to sit in my room alone and play my guitar. I love how if I'm stressed or sad I can just pour my feelings out in my music and I feel better.

Oh that is awesome! How lucky are you to have musical talent. I would LOVE to be able to do that.

Well then we need to think of something to do that doesn't cost money! Surely we can come up with something.

I like to use public transport while listening to the music on my headphones. It has some sort of calming effect on me, and helps me to organize my thoughts. when i have times like this i don't want people going with me somewhere. I just want to listen to the music, watch strangers passing by, feel that no one knows me, and drive far far away...

That actually sounds pretty good. I live in a rural area where there is no public transporation. But I think your idea is a good one.
