Have you ever been to Hawaii?

I've never been there, but it's on my list of places I want to go visit.

My husband and I went last August (2007) for our 1 year anniversary and it was the best 9 day vacation ever! Don't pack a lot...you'll probably live mainly in your bathing suit with a tank top and shorts overtop. And sundresses. I packed WAY too many clothes that I never touched. Enjoy some time in Waikiki, but don't spend your whole vacation there...it's too touristy. We did 5 days in Waikiki and then island hopped and spent 4 days in Maui to relax. While in Waikiki we did a lot of group activities, but our favorite was snorkling, which I think we did on a boat called Snorkel Bob or something like that. They took us out to a sandbar and we played volleyball in the middle of the ocean and ate lunch, then we went out further and did snorkeling. It was awesome. We also visited Pearl Harbor, toured Honolulu and did a tour of the Island. We saw a few shows on the Waikiki strip (a magic show and a song/dance show). Also make sure to attend at least 1 authentic Luau (I recommend Germaine's Luau which is outside of Waikiki). In Maui we relaxed a lot and drove the Road to Hana, which you need to do some research on but it's awesome! Hope this helps :)

I have never been to Hawaii, but I would like to go there some day. It would be a load of fun. I know a lot of people who have been to Hawaii, and who have loved it.
