Best responses, are they rare?

I was just wondering if people often get/give best responses. I was checking to see if any of my 200 posts got best response but none have. Is it because people usually don't give them out, my responses are bad, or they are hard to get because your posts need to be top of the line? What do you think? Also, how many best reponses do you have?

Hi MrHappy,
I am giving BR to my post after a week posting or even two weeks..I want to resolved all my posts and so far, I have a quality responses and someone deserve for the said BR..
I know a lot of people will give BR after a month or more, they want to make sure that no one will be responding anymore and with that, it is fair to choose BR...
I have like 40 BR so far, received from a friend and from a person who is not in my list!

I give out best responses when I am asking a question that I need resolved. If someone is genuinely helping me out and giving me useful information I will give them a best response and a plus sign rating. But if it is one of those topics that is just for opinion and chatting I won't give a best response in my topic; I won't value anyone's opinion over another. I have at the moment five best responses out of 221(?) posts.
