I don't think this is what they intended.

There are a few products I know because of their comericals but I know I will Never use their product. Why? Because of the commerical.Vonage is trying to get us to try their phone service but the way they are doing it is Soooo annoying. They have a woman being Vontage and a man the phone company. It goes on showing how much the phone company hasn't changed and after watching this, the commerical makes me want to sign with the phone company. And the Taco Bell commerical where a guy takes a bite out of the other guy's wrap makes me want to see the guy punch him,it doesn't make me want the wrap. Do you have a commerical that you hate soo much that you will never buy the product?

I haven't seen the Taco Bell commercial yet (I go to Del Taco anyway - far superior), but I have seen the Vonage one. I agree, it is annoying, but their service is fabulous and the quality is marvelous. Calling anywhere in the U.S., Canada, U.K., France, and several other European countries is free. Other countries in the world are ridiculously cheap (I call a good friend in Moscow for 4-cents a minute - 1R). I can take the device with me when traveling and plug it into any high-speed Internet connection and I have my home telephone number, anywhere in the world.

I think I will. It's almost as annoying as the "Head On" commercials. They're effective, but awful.

I find the Vonage commercials a little annoying just because I have no need for it and just use my cell phone but I understand how it appeals to others reaching outside of the country since I live in a college town and their always walking around with calling cards, my friend from Tunisia for example. They have Vonage in the mall now who have been there for a year now.

Right now the only one that comes to mind is the Herbal shampoo, dont remember the whole name.. hmmm maybe cause I refuse to buy it. I really hated watching them and Im not a prude or anything but making it sound like these women are getting off on using it just turned me right off.

Head-On, apply directly to the forehead...Head-On, apply FIST directly to the face...lol! I will not ever buy that! It might work but I'll probably never find out. Also, it's very expensive.
I remember when I was growing up my mom hated the "Please don't squeeze the Charmin" commercials so much she refused to buy Charmin for years. Now Mr. Whipple is long gone, may he rest in peace, and it's all I ever get.

I loved Mr Whipple but I don't buy Charmin. In fact I am allergic to Charmin.

I am sure every community has one of these... A cheesy local used car salesman (or two) trying their best to convince you that they are honest and going to cut you a great deal.
Yea, right!

Hello sarahruthbert,
You have just hit on my pet hate subject, I hate adverts on t.v. I usually turn the mute button and do something else till the programme on and there is so much noise for each adverts I can't stand it.

Another one I just thought of that I can't stand - the guy with the talking shirt. I don't even know what the product is, some laundry detergent or fabric softener I assume. But it's annoying as heck when that shirt and the guy are talking at the same time. It's also just stupid.

"Mama kows the magic of Clorox"
I think that is extremely SEXIST. This promotes negative gender STEREOTYPES, and because of this commercial I am boycotig their products. All of my Feminist friends are doing the same.

Hmm, Im not necessarily feminist but close and didn't have a problem with that one, just thought of it as similar to the Chunky soup 'mama' commercials as momma taking care of her 'baby' but one commercial that I did find annoying is one I think on Noggin TV (childrens tv)--its been a while but I just remember a father had to watch his kids at home and they were everywhere but I felt like the father was praised in some way but in my mind Im like, Woman do this EVERYDAY!

There hasn't been a commercial that I didn't like, most of the are really funny to me. The Geico commercial use to be the caveman, til the Gecko beat him out. The Vonage is cool but most people are not going to change there service unless the know someone that has it and it works. The way the commercial say that it does. Something that I have been wondering though. Those excercise commercials do people really buy those products? If they do, does it really work for them or not. I don't know anyone that has tried them before. Some commercials are good but then there are times that they do get a little carried away.

I cant think of any right now but I know there have probably been many where Ill remember them and thinking to myself how in the world do I know this? But namely the commercials that never seem to go away and they play two in a row or just several times a day and just have no substance to them--they annoy me! What happen to commercials that make you laugh, it seems like there used to be but that doesnt seem to be the focus anymore i think, just getting you to remember them whether you like it or not by bombardment, thats annoying.
