Savalot grocery store

we do have a save-a-lot near us. i actually haven't gone to it in a few months. i used to go there and then walmart to try to save some money, but i usually ended up spending more money by going to two places instead of just going to one. yea i've noticed walmart has been really jacking up their prices too. where we live walmart pushed everything out so its one of the few places to shop.

Everything is going up constantly. Sometimes stores will have what they call leader-loss items. They sell them at below cost to get people into the store to buy other things. It may be that Savalot can no longer afford to run these leader loss items, or have changed what they're selling in that category. I can't see getting mad at the grocery store. Their cost to buy merchandise is going up, so is their cost to have it delivered. They still have all the overhead they always had plus their utilities are going up just like yours are, so they have to pass the higher costs along to the customer. Face it, we're all victims in this economic crunch except for those way up on top of the ladder that allowed it to become a crisis by their greed.
