I enjoy listening to any type of classical music to relax when I am stressed. I am a teacher and actually play it while students are taking tests to relax them. We also played it while my wife was pregnant because they say is make the baby smarter. My kids are really intellegent for their age, so maybe it worked.

I do. Classical music is awesome. I really like orchestral stuff when I'm feeling down. It really does put me in a better mood. Piano relax tracks are also great stress relievers. I have a couple of CD's containing piano solos. And my computer is filled with classical music.

That is cool that you enjoy classical music when it comes to relaxing when you are stressed, and that is cool that you play it while your students are taking tests because it is good to relaxed while taking a test, and I have never heard that it can make babies smarter, but I am glad that it apparently worked,I have never really been one to listen to classical music, but if I get stressed and need to relax me and my fiance usually listen to country music,or I play a video game, and take my stress out of the enemies.

Thanks for another good response. Country guitar music is relaxing to me, too. My dad always used to play the guitar growing up. When I hear people playing it reminds me of those days.

I like listening classical music. I listen to the CD's every evening, very relaxing at the end of a long busy day. Johan Strauss, Chopin, Beethoven are my favorites.

I like classical, but I love jazz and swing. I think my favorite is In the Mood. Bet your kids wouldn't sit still taking a test with that blaring! Bomp BAAAAAAAAAAAA!

LOL. I keep saying that I need to go to a Jazz club or a Blues bar. We have a few around. Ever been to one?

Hi I like classical music especially Karnatic music - Indian music. I have a good collection of them and like to listen these songs, especially those sung by my favourite singers, every day. This will provide a kind of joy and relaxation to me.

Never heard or tried Karnatic music. I will have to try it out and see what it sounds like. Thanks for the input.

Sometimes. I used to have piano lessons when i was a kid and was kind of a "prodigy", so i had thi collection of records of piano instrumentals by classic composers like bach, strauss, and beethoven. Well, music is one of the fun ways to do therapy sessions. We learned this "music therapy" technique to help patients deal with their personality issues. And its a great way to soothe babies, too. 8)

I have a friend that does piano therapy. It is amazing how powerful music is on people and their conditions, young and old. Thanks
