My son is turning 12 years old and i believe this is the right age that i will discipline his laziness. It is a week now that i remind him of being lazy and i've seen a character improvement.

If Gods well ... so i can have my own to be called then i have to discipline my kid since he is still a kid but a proper one not abusive! because if you do that you can impart the good and the bad things to them and in that way you can have a disciplen kid but never try to discipline them like your hanging there head on the wall because if that will happened you make your own problem regading your kids .. try to discipline a a friendly , soft manner!

it is not necessarily to abuse our child in part of discipline.

At 6 months, I begin to drive the kids in the right way, infact my kids began to know authority at 6 months-that is agood idea to discipline them

lol..I wouldn't wait till my child was 12. I believe in nipping bad habits in the bud. I've always encouraged my kids to be independant and do their chores since a very young age. My 20 month old is expected to clean up after he is done playing..and he also cleans up if he spills something.

I say strike the iron while its hot. When you already noticed a bad action. You should definitely break it before it becomes a habit. Waiting too long... maybe it'll be too late...
