"From the moment I picked up your book until I laid it down, I was convulsed with laughter. Some day I intend reading it." Groucho Marx I love this quote, it makes me smile and I have this, rather aptly, on a bookmark. What is your favourite quote?

I still like Groucho's line about how he wouldn't be a member of any club which would have him as a member. This is doubly funny, what with the Groucho Club in London and everything. Other people? Douglas Adams' attitude to deadlines is pretty much mine: "I love deadlines. I like the whooshing noise they make as they rush past." Terry Pratchett's explanation of the Big Bang: "In the beginning, there was nothing, which exploded." And finally, you can't beat Winston Churchill's famous line when a woman accused him of being drunk. "I may be drunk, Miss, but in the morning I will be sober and you will still be ugly."

Churchill's quote is absolutely brilliant I had forgotten about that one. There are so many fantastic quotes out there that we can't possibley remember them all eh? Thanks for responding!

My favourite quote is something I read on the internet. I don't know who said it, but it sure is true: "Reach for the moon, even if you miss you'll land among the stars." It reminds me to aim big, if it fails and I don't get there, I sure did try and got a good head start. Another one is: "you are never less alone than when you feel alone." Also a very true quote. And the third one on my list is by John Lennon: "Life is what happens to you when you're busy making other plans". Have a nice day
