Some things to remember; your body tells you what it needs! If a person is hungry even after they eat, they did not provide the nutrients the body is needing! Try to determine what minerals or vitamins are lacking in the meals! The best thing to do is to serve a very well balanced meal every mealtime! There are also nutritious snacks for in-between meals, to satisfy active youngsters of this age, that are healthy for them! Also, be on the look-out for any foods that would make your child hyperactive!(thus eat more) I didn't know that apples were making my son hyperactive, until a doctor did some testing on him! And I always thought apples were healthy! But for most people they are! After raising seven kids I learned a lot! !

Sounds like normal 2 year old eating habits. Be grateful that he gets good on other days. I have heard stories where kid refuse to eat anything but hot dogs for months! You could just not give in and give him the Cheerios. When he gets hungry enough he will eat whatever you give him.

Well i do have a younge sister that is the same way!! I would suggest getting foods that are healthy yet tasteful that you know as his he enjoys eating. I think small children just have this time clock that just goes off and comes on throughout there childhood at times. My sister would eat everything you put in front of her, like your son. Then a couple days later, its like she has to debate weather food is good for her on this certain day.
