I'm talking about real people here who has done a great influence in your life. You look u to them because personally they have helped a lot of things in your life. For me, it was my mother. She is one tough woman whom I personally witnessed the struggle to surpass all challenges about life in general. She has suffered pain emotionally, romantically financially and physically. Believe it or not, she is as strong as ever. I don't even want to believe myself but until now she is as active as before. Every time I think of all her greatness, I ask myself "Can I do that?" i am not sure if I can, but as I was with her and experiencing some of her hardship, I cannot say if I am ready nor if I can do what she can. But i have the perfect view of wheat would it be. What about you? Who do you look up to?

It's great that you look up to your mother. Personally, I look up to my older sister. I've always been proud of her; she's always gone out to do the things she loves as a living, and manages to MAKE a living off of it (she's a stage actress/theater professor). It's inspiring to look at her and say, "Look, she's doing what she's always wanted to do. If she can do it, then I can too!"

I also say that my mother has the greatest influence in my life, what I am as a person now. She sacrificed everything on herself just to take care and put her family to where we are now. And she showed how strong as a person and as a mother she was, until her last breath. Sadly, she is just a memory to me now. KEEP SMILING = NEIL

Hi leateagee, Yes I agree with you, I used to look up to my mother when she was alive and she had struggled to bring us all up and yes things she did I know I could never do and the pain, angiush, worry and the hardship I cannot comrehend. Mother was a most wonderful person I have ever known and there will never be onother person I could look up to now. Tamara
