We went to a dinner dance a while ago with my brother and sister in law.Well as most females do we tried to make the very best of ourselves, and tohugh I dint have a new dress,my sister in law did.We arrived at the venue, and as you do we started to have a look at what all the ladies were wearing. The next moment my sister in law was practically crying!!!!there was another woman dressed in exactly the same dress as she had on!!Instead of laughing it off,she took it to heart, and got really upset,if she had been the same size as me I would have swapped with her,but she isnt!!..would you have let it spoilt your evening?

It's funny how people could get so upset about something so meaningless in life. Of course you want to be unique in how you dress, but it's not a big deal when someone bought the same outfit. I doubt many people really notice that kind of stuff, it happens.

I dont think that it would have affected me very much, but it did my sister in law,she wanted to go home!and I bet my bottom dollar that she never wore that dress again. But whereas im not too concerned with clothes,as long as I look decent thats fine by me!she is very into her clothes, and she shopped especially for the occasion.

Hi ruby, Ohhh! Honestly, I don't like anyone who will have the same dress as what I got but situation like that, I will just avoid that we will be close to each other and continue to enjoy the night! ANyway, I am sure she will not like that dress anymore!

We started the same discussion Ruby. It must be telepathy! Or poor timing. I'm so sorry. I did check but I didn't see this one. No, it wouldn't ruin my evening and I would laugh about it. If I were female, I'd blame my husband. That's what they're for! LOL.

To be honest with you I am not sure, it would depend on whether she looked better than me in it! I am a bit fussy about things like that, mainly because I am not a big follower of fashion and have my own style of dressing, so to bump into someone dressed the same as me would be a real meeting of minds I guess!!

As you know im an avid charity shopper, and have been known to look on ebay for special occasion outfits,so if someone urned up wearing the same as me,it would be quite a suprise. But once and only once have I had that experience,I bought a Laura Ashley dress from a dress agency,it cost me eighteen pounds, and it was super lush ,long green silky and flowy, and lol a person I knew had one the very same!but it certainly didnt stop me wearing mine!

Very rare I need to go anywhere that needs adress,im more a trousers person, and even if im going to a dance, which isnt too often then I have some evening trousers that are pretty nice. They are silky wide legged triusers and bought them from the Jigsaw range ,an american firm,a bit costly but they do last for a good time, take a look on there website.
