with doctors. I went to the dentist office in extreme pain yesterday. The dentist was a speciallist so his office was about an hour away from my house. So we spent an hour driving up there, he was an hour and a half probably more late (becuase he is always behind schedual) and once I finally got into his room he pretty much said, theres nothing I can do and sent me on my way. So we probably spent like 15-20 bucks worth of gas driving their considering gas prices these days. Parking fees were dependant on how long we were there, so we spent 12 bucks on a 2 hour visit which shoulda have only took 5 mins and he sent me on my way!. This wasnt the first bad experience Ive had with a doctor. I just no longer even bother. I always sit in the waiting room for hours in xtreme pain, only for them to send me home. Ive had strep throat, and sever heat stroke, and they sent me home. I was puking, had a very high fever, and was in two sweaters and a blanket on the hottest day of summer I was so sick, and they didnt even give me anything for a sore throat or anything. Its happened to my mom to, she went to the hsopital on many occasions and they sent her home. She couldnt even stand up she had to be taken in by ambulance! the doctor said there was nothing wrong and etn her on her way. Turns out she had a broken disc that had lodged into her spine. She probably have had 4 back surgeries because of that. And the best diagnosis he could give her was go home theres nothing I can do! Thats why I dont bother going to doctors anymore unless its COMPLETELY necessary. And this is why I dont trust doctors that much anymore, unless they're very high up there. Do you have any stories like this? Or any peeves in a similar form that you would like to share? Do tell me your stories:)

I have had very many similar troubles with my 3rd daughter. She has Cystic Fibrosis and well before she was diagnosed it seemed as if we took her 3 times a week to the emergency room cause she could not breath and had a severe lung infection. They just told me that she had a bad cold and to give her cough medicine. She was only about 5 months of age. Since then I have learned to ask for a doctor that has been there for several years and not a resident doctor. Most of the time resident doctors are the care takers of the emergency room, even though there is a main doctor over them. They don't like that I do this but it is very well worth asking/demanding to see the main doctor.

well yah most of the time they dont even know what they're talking bout. Sending people home while they're actually really sick telling them theres nothing they can do. Thats wrong, people are probably in actually danger when they do this, becuase the more they dont help the worse the problem gets
