What Do You Think Of Pretty.Odd. ?

I just ordered Pretty.Odd. from Amazon. It should come within the next week or so. I was just wondering what you guys think of it? Love it? Hate it? Neither of those? Let me know. I've only heard three or four song from it. I'd just like to hear what others on mylot think of it. The videos for 'Nine In The Afternoon' and 'That Green Gentleman' are pretty cool. I have also heard the song 'Pas De Cheval' and I like that one.

I love it! Their style has definently changed since AFYCSO, but in a good way! Their music has matured a lot and all their songs aren't about strip clubs. Haha.
I like just about every song on the CD, and that's not something that happens very often. My two favorite songs are 'I Have Friends In Holy Spaces' and 'She Had The World.'
I'm sure you'll LOVE the CD.

Thanks for letting me know what you think. I got the CD on Saturday and just today got to finish listening to it. I like it, though I haven't listened enough to really grasp which songs are which and which ones I like the most.
I think Ryan's voice, when he sings on a couple songs, really works nicely with the new sound.
It is different from AFYCSO, but it's a nice kind of different. I did really enjoy the dancey sound of the older stuff, but I do liek this, too.

I love it! Not only is the cover art awesome, but you can't resist listening to Nine In The Afternoon over and over again.

it's not horrible, but it's a lot different than afycswo. They're more folky now. i kind of miss the old panic, but they've grown up i guess. :/

I totally have to second this. The new Panic is pretty =/ Nine in the Afternoon is pretty good. Honeslty though, when I first heard it, I was totally disappointed. After hearing their singles though. It's growing on me. I was a huge fan of the electric beat themes to their first albums, and like you said, they're pretty folky now. SO... it leaves much to be desired. =/ It's all good though.

it is really pretty odd to hear such panic to do it, but the hell, it didn't sound bad, its the opposite. It was totally pretty and odd, strangely in a way that it is different from what their music before. Oh gosh, they have an amazing taste and a submissive power to change from that to that.
