When you eat outside or pick a restaurant to dine in do you treat it as a lifestyle or a basic necessity that you need to do? Like, just devour some food to satisfy your empty stomach? or do you approach it like a friend or a lover that you can't wait for it to go inside of you?

I treat like a basic necessity. When I'm usually out, I make it a point that I'm having lunch in the mall so I have to make a smart choice as much as possible.
So using your words, I do approach it "like a lover" haha. I always have to be in a hurry so there's no time for me to cook before going out especially during the weekends.

My husband really enjoys cooking, and knows how and where to find cheap grocceries. Before he came to Canada I ate out almost every night, because i'm lousy at cooking, and I can't stand cooking either. Now that my husband is up here, we eat at home almost every night. We still go out now and then for a treat, but not as often as I did when I was alone.
