Ep:2 - the Race with Dog. Have you ever won it?

With out spoiling it for those that may stumble here without having played it, at one point there is a buggy race against Dog somewhere.
For those that have done it, how many of you actually won it?
I always do really well until the very last moment when, without fail, I go ploughing in to a tree.
And for those that have mananged, how many tries did it take you?

yes i have beaten him, wasnt that hard to do, he has still beaten me more times then i have beaten him.
only took me a couple tries to do it the first time, but i was just trying to get the achievment for it, the first time, i was also trying to get the lawn gnome achievment at the time, and the gnome goes flying out of my car, so i had to stop and search for it.

Well, I have played through the game many times, so I have beaten dog a few times. He has beaten me more though. I'm just not very good at driving the car I finally got pretty good with the airboat and the buggy, but the car...eludes me, so I only run through the race one time per game. I need to get batter at driving that car.
