Are your kids afraid of the dark?

Mine will not go into a dark room or even sleep without a night light.
She will sometimes get up and turn the light on in the middle of the night if she sleeps in the room by herself
Are yours still afraid of the dark? If not, how did you overcome it? Did it just go away?

mine are grown. i dont think everyone grows out of it because 2 are still afraid of the dark and so am i. so, its likely my fault. have always had a night lite. btw, Stephen King says hes afraid of the dark. lol
