Do you make Chinese at home? I do. I made orange chicken once that was pretty good. I also love making stir fry, even though I usually use a cheat called la choy for the sauce. My favorite addition to things though is the srirliachi (sp?) sauce. Whooooo gotta love the heat!

Lemon chicken is always one of my favorite Chinese dishes. It is not hard to make either. But I have not yet succeeded in having the really concentrated lemon flavor I remember from the restaurants. I also really like to make fried rice. And then there are the spicy dishes that I really like but my wife does not care for. Hot and sour soup is so much better for you when you have a cold then traditional chicken soup because you sweat the bugs away.

My favorite Chinese recipe is vegetarian egg rolls. You stir fry some cole slaw and diced up tofu with some cool seasonings. Then wrap them up and deep fry them. Awesome.

I make a ridiculous amount of delicious crab ragoons (crab and cream cheese filled wonton wrappers that are deep fried) every year just before Christmas and freeze them. They're incredible. I also accidentally make scallop chow mein one time that surprisingly turned out extremely well...I was shocked. Unfortunately, there are a lot of chinese recipes that I WANT, but they're hard to get a hold of.

mmmmm crab rangoon. Those are awesome. I am like you and wish I had some of the recipes. I am sure if we looked online there would be a reasonable facsimile of the originals we love.
