I don't know what to do!

I'm bored and feel like going somewhere, but there is nowhere to go. I have no money to spend on an activity, and it is threatening to rain, so I can't do anything outdoors. This is driving me nuts because I really wanted to go somewhere or do something, but I can't think of a single thing to do. The only thing that keeps coming to mind is walking around the mall, but that's rather boring when you have no money to spend on anything. What do you do when times are like this?

Hi Katsmeow1213! That happens to me a lot of times too! More so around the monsoon seasons whereby it just rains non-stop 24hours a day, 7 times a week! Similarly, I hate going shopping when I have no money, as it is just plain boring to want that something but not have the finances to buy it. That type of feelings sucks. Well, usually what I do during periods like this is to followup with my friends and catch up on their lives. This is something which I usually cannot do as I am just so busy with work and everything, and I travel to Malaysia to visit my boyfriend everytime I have free time on the weekends. Thus, when rain comes, I would be stuck at home, sometimes calling up my friends for a chat, sometimes going out to the nearest coffeeshop and have a cup of tea with them. Worst come worst where by everybody is just not free, what I do is slack around the house, surf a bit of the internet, watch TV, dance and sing around the house and if the mood comes by, to do some household chores (like once in a blue moon! Lol =DD) OR.. (I did this once before together with one of my neighbour cause both of us were really bored). Sit down and start organising a party. It could for any weird reason that you could think up of! To celebrate the boredom days or whatsoever. Do up a guest list, invite them over and start cooking for the whole bunch! You could be very amazed at how fun this is and how fast time comes when we start it. =D =D

Those are all great ideas. Unfortunatly I am a stay at home mom, so I do most of those things on a daily basis as it is, and it's no longer fun for me. All of my friends are on the internet, so I don't really get together with them but once in awhile. I try to get out and find things to do so I can meet new people and make friends that I may be able to go chat with sometime, but it's difficult to do on rainy days.

Normally on days like that I stay home and continue to be bored. Maybe try to find an at home in the house activity to pass the time. Some crafts or something maybe. My kids love to get down on the floor and color. I sometimes get down there with them too.

Well the rain is no longer threatening. It is currently pouring. We've had so much rain, it hardly feels like summer at all. I guess I have no choice but to sit home and remain bored. Perhaps we'll watch a movie.

i usually sit on the computer. lol. I spend way too much time on here. we don't have any spending money either. our mall isn't bad though because they have a inside playground area that the kids can play in. so i can window shop and get some ideas for christmas and then let the kids play. but usually i just play something on here or I watch a movie or read. i can't wait till my kids are older and can play board games with me lol.
