AC was having trouble keeping up the other day

It was pushing 100 the other day and the AC was having trouble keeping up. I ended up taking off the filter and discovered that it was totally clogged with dust. I am glad I checked that before having to pay someone to come out and look at it. Have you ever called a repair man out to fix something only to find out that it was something simple that you could have done yourself?

No, unless it is really critical. I love to trouble shooting activities. Besides, I have my own maintenance for the AC. I do clean the filter which is easy to detach since it is located at the front. My schedule is weekly every Sunday after attending Mass at the Church. It is written on the manual that we need to clean it regularly in order to maintain it's performance. It is one of the reason why our AC is not working as expected. Do a regular cleaning of AC like what we do in our Refrigerator. Have a great day.
