I keep old letters. Nothing can compared to the joy you derived from reading each lines. Letter is an intimate kind of communication.

You cannot compare the joy when you recieved letters from love ones miles away.Sometimes tears are just falling because of homesickness. If only our family dorm far knows ho we longed for letters maybe they will make an effort not just text.

Yes, I save all my old letters! I love to look over them when I havent talked to my friends in awhile. I still have letters and little pictures that my friends gave me in Elementary school. I also save birthday cards! I'm glad to know I'm not the only one.

Yes I do. I am a very sentimental person. I stash them somewhere in my boxes and keep them and it feels great to look back on the years before that when you get to read them again. But there are letters that I also threw away because the person is no longer in my life and I think that it would be pointless if I would still keep them.

We are both sentimental, letters that keep us so near while we apart make me cry while reading throug the lines. I always read it over and over.I agree get rid of letter that's no longer making you happy.

The letters is important means of comunication in my childhood. But now the modern technology is make the people communicat easy to each other. It don't have pleasantly surprised in the waiting time. My old letters had lost when my family move house. But they are also stay in my heart. They are part of my memory.

I'm skeptical about responding, I have not been receiving credit for my posts. Well let's see what happens. I do keep old letters. I keep cards from family and any card that is really cute. I even have cards from when I was in the hospital many years ago. You are right, I can not remember when the last time I received a letter. Yes, email and text messaging has taken over. This is the latest craze. That is why postage is always inceasing.

I still write letters but I doubt anyone keeps them. I have handwritten family letters stashed away, a large folder of saved emails and several texts still on my phone - some make me smile and some make me cry
