6 hours daily power cut !

Hello friends,
Moonsoon have arrived long back here in Bombay and we all thought that finally summer is over, and now we can enjoy the rain and the interrupted power supply.
But now due to shortage of rain and some mean politicians we are again facing power shoratge. And this time its worse than than the summers. Its going to be 6 hours power cut daily 
. Morning 7.30 to 10.30 and evening 4.30 to 7.30 is the time when there will be no light 
.
Well Bombay is the Business hub of India and think of the business losses people are going to incurr in these period.

Tutul,
The power situation is bad in a lot of places in India due to the failure of the monsoons. Out in here in B'lore we have been facing these unschedule power cuts for a couple of weeks now and the duration of them seem to be getting longer. the ones most hard hit are the small businesses .To add to this problem there has been a shortage in the supply of diesel in this city for the last few days making it difficult to keep the generators running.
I feel a lot for the kids who find it difficult to study with all these power cuts going around. Only hoope this situation improves.

It is a serious problem. ofcourse Govt has to do something for this.
But we can do our part also. We should sincerely follow energy saving tips. Even if 10% of household follows the energy saving tips, it will be reflected in considerable savings in power consumption.
