In the Philippines, our educational system is:
* Nursery
* Pre-kinder/Kindergarten
* Elementary:
--- Primary (Grade 1-3)
--- Intermediate (Grade 4-6, some until Grade 7)
* High School (4 years)
* College/Vocational (minimum 2 years then ranges from 4-7 years)
* Masterals (optional)
Most students who are able to finish schooling graduate college by 20 years old. I think it's fun that we get to finish earlier than other countries but I believe there are still more to learn and that it would be nice to add some more years. Or maybe there's no need to add more years but intensify / improve the quality within this short period.
What is your country's educational system? What do you think about it? Feel free to post. I'd love to hear your responses. I'm curious about your country's educational system :D

In Singapore, it is kindergarten, primary school (6 years), Secondary school (4 or 5 years, Streaming, O level or N level), College or Polytechnic (A level or Diploma), University for Bachelor Degree and Masters Degree locally or go overseas. Anything higher, will be overseas to US or UK.
I think the education system in my country is quite good, every subject are being taught in first language, English. Everyone is aiming for scholarship, though only a few would be eventually chosen based on their academic performance. Its very competitive.
Cheers.

Thanks for your response! :D Wow, a competitive environment. That makes a person an achiever. And unknowingly, each one contributes to a bigger whole. :)

In Singapore,it have quite a good standard of education.Start of with Nursery/Kindergarten.Primary School(Primary 1 to 6),Secondary School(Secondary 1 to 4/5)There's three stream..Express,Normal Academic,Normal Technical.Those in Normal academic stream could have the chance to get into secondary 5 which is the same as the secondary 4 Express.The age of 17 years old for secondary 5.
After completed the secondary level,students could join Polytechnics(Diploma)for three years,Institution of technicals(Certificates)[two years or more] for courses of their choice.OR, Junior Colleges for two years to prepare before joining Universities.
After passing in Polytechnics and Junior College,students could get into Universities for degree.And its continues to those who are willings to study more until PHD..hehehe!
Its a must for children to complete the Primary School in Singapore.=)

Thank you for your response. :)
Wow, that's a nice educational system. There're preparatory stages. It's also great that children must complete Primary School. How I wish it was a law here as well. Most children here are not able to finish primary school because of poverty.
