i see that there are times when Mylot is kind of slow and sometimes it is zipping...was just wondering how many of the Mylotters are in some kind of a permanent job? what do you do for a living? well i work from home i do financial data auditing freelancing with some Indian companies and i enjoy being on mylot more as a fun site and stress buster...i get my payments once in a month so the month ends become very tight...how do you get paid cash or cheque or comes straight to your account? mine is in cheques as per the amount of work..are you paid monthly or weekly?

I work as a cashier full time. I do 4-5 days and get paid in the bank at the end of the month. Towards the end of the month things are abit stretched and I try not to buy stuff we dont need. I am on mylot for fun, making friends and just having a chat.

Hi nupats, I am retired so I no longer have a job to go to every day, but there have been days that I wished that I did. I expect that most people here have a job, as it would be difficult to make a living just writing online. I'm sure too that there are others like myself, who need something to keep them busy. Blessings.

Stop calling me!!! I told you already, I PAYED MY BILLS ON TIME!! I'm not a "menace to society"!! lol but seriously, I'm thinking about getting a THIRD job as either a debt collector, phone rep, etc. - there are plenty of openings here in Houston and entry is $9-15/hr. Not bad.

Hi, I don't work outside the home at an actual job. Since I became disabled about 10 years ago, I've been making some income online. If I had a choice, I would much rather work at home then have to go out to an office everyday. Before I was disabled, I worked at an insurance agency for 16 years. There was a lot of stress there during the last few years and I hated going to work everyday. I'd much rather just be home. Happy MyLotting, Char

Hi, I know exactly how you feel. When I got fired at my job, the first feeling I felt was shock and sadness. After my hubby and I talked about it and now the way things have turned out, it is probably the best thing that ever happened to me. I was so stressed out when I worked there I had to start seeing a psychiatrist. I am so glad I got out of the work force. Happy MyLotting, Char

That's how I felt about my last job. the stress was overbearing. Then God blessed me with a lay off form. I am now stress free, I am not even worried about where I will get money to pay my bills. Right now I an enjoying waking up each morning without worrying about what will happen at the job. Once you releive yourself of stress, the world seems a different place. I am doing mylot, for a little extra spending money. It will of course never replace a real full time job, but it is something, and something is always better than nothing.

I help run our home-based businesses, but for the most part I do not work a regular job. I'm a homeschooling mom of 2. I do have a part time job that I work 2 afternoons a month and in the fall I'll have another part time job for 1 morning per week, but the rest of what I do is online money makers as time permits.

I stumbled across this program only a few minutes ago, but I'm very curious as to how this works. I was formally employed at a factory, very physically demanding work, and I finally got fed up and quit. We were pushed like machines and treated worse than a machine. I'm checking this site out in hopes that it is real, and not just another scam. It seems like it could be interesting and good fun.

I am retired, but I am working on my novel. I also get my Old Age Security. I never was successful in working, I was trained as a secretary, but the job after that was a steno, then a file clerk, and so I gave up working outside. I worked as a telemarketer and then delivering fliers, that was when people were getting laid off. I found that I work better by myself, so my work is mainly writing.
