On average GIRLS BETTER AT MATH or more BOYS ARE MATH GENIUSES ?

Yes, it is true.
There is much confusion concerning this. Adding more confusion to the discussion is that both the above statements are true. On average girls are better at math than boys. However, at the extremes boys are more numerous than girls. This means there are more boy math geniuses and math idiots than girl geniuses and idiots. Plainly put, more girls are smarter at math overall, but the most extreme abilities (good and bad) belong to the boys. Here's the explanation by an expert.

I say statistics and the effects of mean and standard deviation are a mystery to most.

I have not moved to that link..But I can still claim that on an average Boys are MATH genuises ..And its also proved ..Boys brains are advanced in logical reasoning and girls brains are advanced in memory and data collection(This is in general and not in particular as Humans are unique you just cant predict)..So in my 'Opinion' its boys/men..

At the link they explain the difference between mean and standard deviation and how this contributes to the confusion.
Boys and girls on average score the same mean, but more girls are average than boys. The number of boys who don't score average are split between the way above average and the way below average. So, on average, girls are more likely to be better than boys at math but the extreme math idiots and the extreme math geniuses are both boys.
