I noticed these days that most people are turning away from intenet explorer to others like opera, mozilla fireworks etc Do you think this is because of the various virus that has been attacking internet explorer in the recent days or they are just tired of it and they want to try something new? AS for me i use internet explorer molliza fireworks and opera, but till now i cannot tell you which one is better.

I think it's because Mozilla Firefox is much faster and easier to use, I moved from Internet explorer to Firefox and find that Firefox is really much faster compared to Internet Explorer. I use anti virus so I don't know if it is really attacking my computer when I use IE.

I don't think anti virus will attack your computer but it will protect it.

You have written as "Fire Works". It is "Fire Fox". People mainly shifting to FireFox, because of its speed and many other facilities compared to Internet Explorer. If 'IE' is making these standards, people will come back again.

yeah thats the answer. IE has not been customer friendly. by this i mean that the customers (we) don't get the best out of the IE that we et thru microsoft. they are not innovative. so people keep moving to the ebst they find in the market. i belive Firefox seems to have speed and lots of add ons which can be best used. i also like netscape. Do u know? the good thing about these two brosers when compared to IE is that the cache is written in indirect form. that is, if u receive a hidden exe file (might be a virus file) along your attachment and you download the attchement then, it will first be stored in Temporary internet explorer directory. but it will be written as cachee****.*** which can be read only by the broser. by this the initiation o fthe virus file can be prevented. thus preventing virus explosion.
